Information we collect
When you submit a contact or ride-request form, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred date, pickup location, and message. The site may also receive ordinary technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and approximate location. A lang-pref cookie remembers your language choice for future visits.
How we use information
We use this information to answer questions, coordinate rides, maintain and protect the site, prevent abuse, and understand which parts of the site are most useful. Form content is available only to church staff and volunteers who need it for the relevant ministry response.
Services that help operate the site
The following providers may process limited data as needed to provide their services:
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks forms and prevents spam.
- Resend delivers form content to church email inboxes.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides site analytics when enabled.
- Sanity hosts website content and media; contact-form submissions are not stored in Sanity.
- Google Analytics provides usage analytics only when enabled in the site configuration.
Retention and security
We keep form information only as long as reasonably needed for a response, follow-up care, administration, or legal obligations. We and our providers use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s information
The online contact and ride-request forms are intended for adults and for parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through this site. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can remove it.
Your choices and how to contact us
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted through the site. You can also limit cookies in your browser, though that may affect features such as language preference. For privacy questions, email info@ficcc.org.
